FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: system to cool converter gas includes a primary cooling circuit, comprising a water-cooled cooler of converter gases, which is connected by a circulating pipeline to a circulating pump and a convective surface, a deaerator, which is equipped by a facility for connection to a source of chemically treated water, is connected by a make-up line via a make-up pump with a circulating pump and is additionally connected with a circulating pump by means of a pipeline with a pressure controller, a secondary cooling circuit, comprising an evaporator-drum, where the specified convective surface is built in from the primary cooling circuit, and a device for supply of feed water into the evaporating drum, which comprises a deaerator with a facility for connection to the source of chemically treated water. In the secondary cooling circuit the system is equipped by the following components connected by pipelines: a steam condensation plant, a condensate tank and a plant of reagent treatment of condensate. At the same time the steam condensation plant is connected by a steam line with the evaporating drum, and the condensate tank via the condensate pump and stop valves is connected to the deaerator of the primary cooling circuit and is equipped with a nozzle with a stop valve for condensate bleed.
EFFECT: increased working resource of a system for converter gas cooling due to reduction of scale formation in pipelines and on cooled surfaces, higher efficiency of using chemically treated water.
