FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to production of pipes with diameter varying in length and can be used in production of conical heat exchangers. Bending and forming are performed at successive forming of pipe involute shaped to trapezium with rectangular end sections starting from smaller base at decreasing force and with decreasing time intervals. Cylindrical sections are formed at the ends of pipe being formed. Bending male die is used to this end composed of sections, end sections and guide as well as forming male die with sections, end sections and guide. Female die is composed of the recess and embedded in the bed. Sections of bending and forming male dies feature smoothly varying cross-sections and different lengths corresponding to female die sections varying over their sections. All sections of said male dies are interconnected to allow up-down travel. Note here that end sections of said male dies feature permanent cross-section and are connected with sections of bending and forming male dies to allow up-down travel.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher efficiency.
