FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical, petrochemical and power industry and can be used for catalytic processes with considerable heat effects at partial conversion of hydrocarbons. Method of exothermic and endothermic catalytic processes of partial conversion of hydrocarbons includes feeding hydrocarbon mixture into a layer of heterogeneous catalyst, bringing the mix to contact with the surface of said catalyst, the process is carried out successively in two vertical tube reactors, directing hydrocarbon mixture at first in the main reactor and the reaction mixture from the main reactor into additional reactor, wherein consumption of cooling heat carrier at exothermic process and hot heat carrier in endothermic process in the additional reactor is maintained below as compared with flow rate of cooling or hot heat carrier in the main reactor. Reactor set used for implementation of this method includes the main reactor jacket, inner tubes are made in the form of truncated cone, also tube inside the casing are inclined relative to central axis and around this axis to form a cone-shaped cavity, inlet and outlet branch pipes are arranged tangentially, and extra reactor, identical to the main one, these reactors are mounted vertically and are arranged relative to each other with alternation of small and large bottoms, the main and additional reactors are interconnected in series.

EFFECT: invention provides high uniformity of processes and higher efficiency.
