SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optimisation of elevator operation. At control over elevator (10) operation, elevator (10) operation data are recorded and stored in data base (60, 61) of elevator control device (50). Data recorded during preset registration period are analysed with the help of at least one data processing device (56, 57) incorporated with elevator control device (50) to reveal the application models. Elevator (10) is subjected to forecast control depending upon application model with power and/or efficiency optimisation.
EFFECT: optimised operation.
