FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for control of elevator assembly. When elevator assembly with two-section of multi-section elevator cage is controlled the target call (T1) is given to one elevator shaft on call-giving floor. This target call (T1) specifies destination floor. For target call (T1), a trip using elevator cage (1, 1', 1") from departure floor to destination floor is determined. Before a trip has been determined it is checked weather at least one situation-specific parameter (T2) is fulfilled, and in case when situation-specific parameter (T2) is fulfilled at least one suitable for situation assignment of call (T6) is determined for trip with zero floor difference between call generation floor and departure floor and with zero floor difference between destination floor and arrival floor.
EFFECT: optimisation of elevator assembly operation, improvement of control system efficiency.
