FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: spider having a body with two vertical through tapered openings consists of two halves pivoting in the horizontal plane and dissymmetric in regard to the joint line and fixed rigidly in a closed position at the front by a stopper made as a rod. It also contains two gripping mechanisms that include four-part slips installed so that they can be moved in the through tapered openings and lever mechanisms interacting pivotally with the slips. The spider is equipped with a mechanism for each gripping mechanism interacting with the lever mechanism. Under the body there is a basis in the form of a plate with the central opening, at the front side up to the central opening there is a through groove in the plate. Over the body there is a cover in the form of a plate with the central opening that consists of two pivoting halves fixed rigidly to the racks of the lower half of the body. The device is equipped with a vertical axis fixed rigidly at the upper plane of the basis at the rear side and connected pivotally to the rear side of the body half, the cover half. At that the spider is fixed by "Open" or "Closed" position regulators for the body half and an open position regulator for the slips. The centres of tapered openings are placed in the joint line of the body by which the tapered openings are divided into semi-openings. Drives of the gripping mechanisms are united with the lever mechanisms and contains coaxial external and internal shafts with fixed rigidly manual handles, levers and consoles with rocker arms mounted opposite to each other at the lateral sides of the body halves, they are mounted so that they can rotate in brackets connected to the lateral sides of the body halves. The drives of the gripping mechanisms also contain detachable rods connected pivotally to the rocker arms; the rods consist of two links connected by the interacting gear racks at each link. Fixation of the links in the connected position is made by a lock in the form of a spring-actuated bushing. At that the rod of the first gripping mechanism is connected to the rocker arms of the external shafts while the rod of the rear gripping mechanism is connected to the rocker arms of the internal shafts. Parts of each slip are dissymmetric in regard to the joint line of the body; they interact in pairs with one of semi-openings in the through tapered openings of the body. At that both parts of pairs of the front slip are connected in pairs with the rocker arms of the internal shafts and both pairs of the rear slip are connected in pairs with the rocker arms of the external shafts.
EFFECT: serviceability and maintainability, improved operational reliability and safety, expansion of operational functionality.
