SUBSTANCE: pipe power slips has body 1 with internal taper bearing surface 2 and brackets 18, inserts 6 with external taper surface 2 and side surfaces with recesses 27, slips 5 with suspensions 29 and dies 34 and holders 31 connected with rising platform, carrying suspensions 4, slips 15, turning mechanism in form of power cylinders 16 connected through hinged joints 17 with upper part of carrying suspensions 4 with brackets 18 of body 1 located on pins 20 from one side across cantilever ears 3 of body 1 whose ends are rigidly connected by pins 26 with wings 21 of holder 22 of body 1. Recesses 27 are parallel to bearing surfaces 7 of slips 5 movable stops 28 are located in recesses. Rising platform 8 has recesses 32 coaxial to slips 5 and inserts 6. Recesses 32 accommodate holders 31 with spring-loaded adjustable strikers 30 with taper end piece. Installed on rising platform 8 above slips 5 is spring-loaded bar 33 for covering the passage hole of the pipe power slips. Slips suspension 29 is made with depression corresponding to taper end piece, and lower parts of slips 5 and dies 34 are made with inclined surfaces 35. With pressure applied to power cylinders 16, pipe power slips turn with gripped pipe. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
