SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions which contain a therapeutically effective amount of at least one peptide, polypeptide, protein and an analogue or derivative thereof and a sufficient amount of at least one stabilising agent and a method of producing said composition. The composition is intended for use in treating a medical condition which can be treated with said peptide, polypeptide, protein, analogues or derivatives thereof. The stabilising agent used in the composition is a salt, ester, ether or derivative of a fatty acid with an average chain length or carbon chain length ranging from about 4 to about 20 carbon atoms or is a surfactant. If the composition is liquid, concentration of the stabilising agent in the composition is equal to or greater than its critical micelle concentration, and if the composition is solid, the amount of the stabilising agent in the composition is sufficient to obtain concentration of the stabilising agent which is equal to or greater than its critical micelle concentration in the intestines when released from the composition.
