FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of flexographic printing and device of flexographic printing, in which printing on the tape W of images is provided, the distance between repetitions of which on the tape W is greater than the circumference of the plate roller R. Such printing can be achieved by controlling the rotation of the plate roller during the passage of the free zone of the plate roller R past the moving tape W so that the length of the corresponding free zone, formed on the tape, is greater than the free zone. Rotation of the plate roller can be controlled by stopping the rotation of the plate roller R or reducing the rotational speed when the free zone is combined with the tape W, and by further increasing the rotational speed to a predetermined printing speed when the tape is aligned with the plate roller.
EFFECT: providing the ability to print using the method of flexographic printing of images which size or distance between the repeating images is greater than the circumference of the printing plate cylinder, as well as large images, images separated by a large distance, random images and/or multicolour images.
