SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of valuable documents. Sensor calibration transducer used in processing registered measured signals from calibration medium displaced thereby. Said registered measured signals are used to define the reference data on calibration medium and parameter of its displacement, for example, its displacement speed or position at displacement. Said parameter is used to define at least one correction intended for correction of registered reference data on calibration medium. After calibration, corrected reference data are compared with preset data of calibration medium. Proceeding from this comparison said transducer is adjusted with the help of corrected reference data.
EFFECT: higher precision of calibration.
