FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: according to one version of realisation, the calibration device for a flow meter comprises a flow-through pipe, a displacer element and a signal analyser. The displacer element is made as capable of movement in a flow-through channel of the flow-through pipe. A magnetic target is placed on the displacer element. At least one inductive converter is located on the flow-through pipe and is made as capable of detection of the magnetic target during movement of the displacer element in the flow-through pipe. The signal analyser is made as capable of detection of maximum inclination of rising and falling fronts of a signal generated by a converter sensitive to the magnetic target moving by the converter. The signal analyser is additionally made as capable of detection of displacer element movement speed on the basis of the detected maximum slope.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of a calibration device due to more accurate detection of displacer element position.
