METHOD FOR RECOVERING MOTION AND PSYCHOVERBAL FUNCTIONS IN INFANTILE CEREBRAL PARALYSIS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61H1/00 A61H23/00

Abstract RU 2518130 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to recreation therapy, and may be used in treating infantile cerebral paralysis (ICP). What is involved is a complex of musculoligamentous, vestibular and verbal load exercises. The loads are gradually increased and decreased by controlling an intensity and time parameters of single exercises. At the first stage the musculoligamentous, vestibular and verbal loads are increased until manifested by musculoligamentous reflexes of the locomotor apparatus, devoicing symptoms and temporary dysphonia in the vocal apparatus and a negative shift of the patient's neurological status. At the second stage, the loads are decreased to the physiological rest differentiated for each system. At the third stage the loads are increased 3 times below the maximum loads of the first stage with the further increase of the loads to the child's individual tolerance level.

EFFECT: method provides stimulating reparative processes in the central nervous system by increase of cortical, subcortical and spinal motor centre activation level.
