Disclosed is distributed node video surveillance control system which includes a plurality of video surveillance system (VSS) service nodes, a service centre control platform, a preliminary unit (PU) and a client unit (CU). Each of the video surveillance system service nodes connects the preliminary unit, which is used to collect video surveillance information, to the client unit which is used to display said video surveillance information; the client unit and the preliminary unit have direct access to each of the video surveillance system service nodes for collecting data; data in the plurality of video surveillance system service nodes are synchronised with data in the service centre control platform.

EFFECT: ensuring long-term stable operation of the video surveillance system with a high load, as well as processing data in real time with a high load.
