FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. A system comprises a cartridge, a tubular tag with an inner wall, a piston with an attached extended rod, and a grooved slide plate. The piston is sized and shaped so that to reciprocate inside the tubular tag. The groove size and shape are specified so that it can be put on the piston rod. The slide plate is provided to interact with the piston rod so that the slide plate can draw the piston rod along at least the first part of the distance for a lens implantation. The piston rod is movable independently from the slide plate along at least the second part of the distance travelled by the piston rod for the lens implantation. Besides, the piston rod is provided to eject the lens through an injector nozzle of the intraocular lens implantation system.
EFFECT: using the given group of inventions enables simplifying the piston rod, avoiding its flexure or inclination when in use.
