FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: critical sizes of cracks in normal operation mode are defined. Afterwards using methods of fracture mechanics and strength of materials, such pressure and temperature for tests are determined at which the obtained sizes of critical crack do not increase during the increased interval of test frequency up to the critical crack sizes in normal operation mode.
EFFECT: increased time interval between tests without deteriorated article reliability.
