FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for maximally uniform production of steam flow in the process of alkane dehydration. Method is realised by passing gas, which contains hydrocarbons, through reaction tubes. Tubes are made with possibility of being filled with catalyst and are closed from the outside. Reaction tubes are laid through heated space, which can be heated by means of burners, with catalyst for carrying out reaction being cyclically regenerated. Reaction is endothermic. Catalyst regeneration is not endothermic, and productivity of main burners is reduced during catalyst regeneration. Auxiliary burners, which during catalyst regeneration continue producing hot smoke gases, used for maximally uniform generation of steam from the heat discharged from the process, are placed at the entrance to chimney pipe to perform additional production of hot smoke gases.
EFFECT: invention makes better use of heat exchange surfaces in chimney pipe during the phase of catalyst regeneration.
