FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and is intended for use in short-wave radio channels when they are adapted to communication conditions. A method for increasing the throughput and quality of estimating short-wave communication channels with absolute bipulse signals when they are adapted to communication conditions due to two frequency-spaced communication channels with amplitude keying allows high-quality communication in "bad" conditions, when the relative phase shift keying method ceases to function satisfactorily , and in "average" and "good" communication conditions, the throughput of the communication channel due to additional phase manipulation increases, respectively, by 2-5 times. In the invention, the phases of adjacent bursts are compared at the same frequency, which does not require mutual phasing of oscillations at subcarrier frequencies.
EFFECT: increasing the throughput of a communication channel with variable parameters in the implementation of "average" and "good" communication conditions due to the simultaneous use of amplitude and phase keying without expanding the spectrum of the transmitted signal and with minimal loss of noise immunity.
