FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an orthopaedic shock absorber for assisting movements with using external devices, performing a rigid surface walking cycle and comprising: (a) a horizontally extended support having a proximal end and a distal end, the upper surface and the lower surface; (b) the first planar elastic plate underlying the horizontally extended support and mechanically connected with the horizontally extended support, wherein the elastic plate has a proximal end and a distal end, a lateral side between the proximal end and the distal end, a medial side between the proximal end and the distal end, the upper surface and the lower surface, characterised by the fact that the proximal end of the horizontally extended support and the proximal end of the elastic plates are separated by a vertical extension; and (c) the front element underlying the elastic plate and mechanically connected to the elastic plate, wherein the front element is provided between the lateral side and the medial side of the first elastic planar plate in the distal direction from a point on the first planar elastic plate which takes the load from the support during the first part of the walking cycle.
EFFECT: provided three-point correction, as well as higher walking effectiveness and stability.
