SUBSTANCE: invention refers to using one or more cell lines originated from yew (Taxus) stem cambium or procambium, an extract thereof, and a medium wherein cultured for preparing an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory or anti-aging composition, wherein (a) the cells are undifferentiated at first, and (b) the cell culture is stable with a rate of growth higher than in the cell line originated from different tissues, other than Taxus cambium or procambium. The compositions according to the invention as compared to the existing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents minimise side effects; they are involved into intracellular metabolic processes reducing a quantity of intracellular active oxygen forms, and relieve age signs. The prepared compositions according to the invention are effective to prevent and delay ageing.

EFFECT: compositions according to the invention possess an ability to inhibit melanogenesis and thereby are effective as a cosmetic whitening agent.
