FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air transport, specifically to electro-mechanical drive of aircraft landing gear. The drive contains electric motor to rotate output shaft via reducing gear, and passive control means. The passive control means provide output shaft rotational speed control and contain braking device located between reducing gear output and rotated output shaft. The braking device is made capable to provide two different braking levels depending on shaft rotation direction. The braking device is of hydraulic type and contains means for liquid transfer between two chambers under action of output shaft rotation via selective throttling element. The selective throttling element creates two different forces depending on rotation direction to prevent liquid transfer from one chamber to the other. The landing gear of aircraft contains electro-mechanical drive to control its movement between lowered position and retracted position. The drive is executed so that when its driving shaft comes into rotation when landing gear is lowered the braking element creates the highest level of braking.
EFFECT: passive speed control is provided when drive is actuated by external source.
