FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power plants with pneumatic motor designed for driving vehicles. Proposed drive has high-pressure pneumatic accumulator 1 and low- pressure pneumatic accumulator 3 communicating through gas expansion device 2 whose output shaft is coupled with drive shafts of compressor 10, vacuum pump 9 and generator 12. accumulator 3 has heat exchanger 7 and it is pneumatically connected with pneumatic motor 7, vacuum system 8-9 and compressor 10. Motor 7 is kinematically coupled with vehicle wheels which are kinematically coupled through brake clutch with shafts of compressor, vacuum pump and generator for utilization of braking energy. EFFECT: increased endurance, reduced consumption of energy carrier, increased efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg
