FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: grass sod is cut in a vertical plane. The sod layers are cut with stacking them on the border edges of the sowing band. Then sowing is carried out, the seeds are covered with loose soil and compacted. Then widespread sowing is carried out to the band width. Covering the seeds with loose soil is carried out with stirring to the sowing depth depending on the sown culture. Then the stirred mixture of the soil with seeds is compacted with the shrinkage of soil by 0.3÷0.5 cm. The device of band- widespread sowing comprises a disc blade, a hoe-mouldboard, a drill tube. The drill tube has a dispenser of seeds over the entire width of the sowing band. Behind the dispenser of seeds the adjustable spring harrows are placed at a distance of 1 cm from each other.

EFFECT: use of inventions enables to reduce the energy consumption of the process due to the absence of openers, and to increase the utilisation efficiency factor of the area of the opened band.
