FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, namely to space vehicle (SV) landing devices. SV landing device contains base scuff plate, flap frame, two brace struts, bracket, frame angle encoder, cylindrical hinges with lock elements, four landing pads, central pillar. The central pillar includes main cylinder, cellular energy absorber, telescopic rod (made as immovable piston and stem) with pneumatic extension mechanism, assembly for attachment to SV body. The landing pads (LP) are located in SV body in azimuth direction at intervals of 90°. The LP contains pneumatic drive of rotary type.
EFFECT: higher reliability of LP deployment during normal SV landing.
