FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dairy products manufacture, in particular, to a milking system containing a detection circuit for the dugs cleaning device. The detection circuit contains a cup for dugs cleaning, a measurement device and a treatment device. The measurement device is designed so that to enable automatic measurement of a parameter related to dugs in the cup for dugs cleaning or close to it during or before the cup withdrawal from the dug after the dugs cleaning process termination. The treatment device is functionally connected to the measurement device and designed so that to enable automatic comparison of the measured parameter related to the dugs with the reference value and for automatic determination if the dug is spread in the cup in the process of the dugs cleaning based on the said comparison. The detection method for the dugs cleaning device contains stages whereat one performs automatic measurement of the parameter related to dugs and automatic comparison of the measured related parameter with the reference value. Then, on the base of the said comparison, the dug spreading in the cup during clearing is automatically determined.
