FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used as a speed sensor for flow meters of liquid and gaseous media, as well as for automatic control of rotation, angular movement of mechanisms and machines. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the speed sensor includes a non-magnetic housing, a sensitive element arranged in the latter and consisting of ferromagnetic blades installed on the axis, measuring inductance coils located on the housing in the rotation plane of ferromagnetic blades; with that, on the housing there are annular slots having the shape of an equilateral polygon in the cross section of the housing; with that, apexes of the polygon of one slot are offset relative to apexes of the polygon of the other slot around the axis of the sensitive element, and the measuring inductance coils are arranged in the above annular slots respectively.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and reliability of measurements, as well as enlarging the range of measurements in areas of low and high speeds.
