SUBSTANCE: invention may be used as a speed pickup intended for liquid and gaseous media flow meters, as well as for automatic control of rotation, angular motions of the machines and mechanisms. The speed pickup has a housing incorporating a sensitive element interacting with the flow and made up of rotary ferromagnetic blades arranged at an angle to the sensitive element axis, inductors arranged on the casing to pick up the signals. The casing surface has circular grooves accommodating the inductors provided with a magnetic core with its poles turned relative to the sensitive element axis by an angle equal to that of ferromagnetic blades arrangement. Here, note that the ratio , where D is the casing inner diameter, d is the size (diameter ) of the groove, e makes the distance between grooves along the circumference D, m is the number of blades and n is the number of inductors should be satisfied. Also, the last groove is arranged relative to the previous one at the distance of al least 2e, and relative to the sector boundary, the distance should equal at least 3e.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements and simpler pickup design.
