FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotation-to-translation converter consists of a screw (1) and a unit moving translationally. The said unit consists of a casing (2) and a cover (3) which is connected to the casing (2) by screws (4) with spring washers (5) and a pin (6). Rollers (11) fitted with a thread along the whole their length are installed inside the casing (2). The roller (11) thread turns are engaged with the screw (1) thread turns. The thread rollers on their ends are fitted by spherical undercuts, inside which balls (12) are set. All rollers are prevented from the radial displacement by two rings (13). For the purpose of work synchronisation, additional rings (14) are provided, their internal tooth rims are geared with external tooth rims which are made at the opposite ends of every roller immediately on the thread. The axial displacement of additional rings is limited by the ends of the rings (13) and ends on the cover (7) or at semi-rings (10) coupled to the cover (3).
EFFECT: durability and accuracy of the device, increased load-carrying capacity.
