FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: combined axial support consists of housing (1), thrust rolling bearing (2) with shaft (3) fixed in it, as well as plain thrust bearing, designed as a foot bearing (4) with multilobe working surface. Foot bearing (4) is mounted in the housing (1) with the possibility of axial displacement on the elastic gas-filled chamber (5) with crowned thin-wall end surfaces, on inner surface of which there is a device for changing the pressure value.
EFFECT: increase of service life and reliability of rotor- support system by reducing the total level of vibrations and dynamic loads in the supports of rotary machines, improvement of damping properties.
