SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital image processing means. The method employs a gradient field to form three images which are then subjected to Radon transform and merged into a single image via point-by-point weighted summation of the three Radon transforms from the images.
EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting straight-line boundaries of objects on an image by obtaining local maxima.
