FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises means to cause mechanical strain by contact power action at small surface section and appropriate deformation displacements resulted from said action. It includes the system of measurement of said deformation displacements over the section boundaries with their timely registration and conversion into mechanical strains. Besides, it comprises means of rigid attachment of this device at analysed surface. Said means to cause mechanical strain is composed of heat power source to bring it working tool in contact with said surface section to transfer fixed amount of heat thereto. Said heat is required for plastic straining of said section under action of said strains. This results in temporary heating of said section to temperature of notable decrease in material yield point and occurrence of the section plastic straining but not to its fusion, and its further cooling down. Said system of measurement of said deformation displacements over the section boundaries with their timely registration and conversion is composed micro mechanical displacement transducers arranged in spaced apart pairs opposite the device centre with their ends rigidly secured in said boundary zone.
EFFECT: comprehensive detection of all components of strains in production and operation.
