FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: propulsor is made as two ski each one of which is located on one side of snow mobile frame and installed on at least two L-shaped brackets at each side. Each bracket is made capable of radial rotation and installed by its long end on shaft where chain transmission sprocket is installed. The said brackets at each side are located diametrically opposite to similar brackets at the other side. Shaft with sprocket is located on frame. The second end of each bracket interacts with mating place of corresponding ski installed with possibility to perform flat-parallel motion in the plane parallel to vertical plane of snow mobile. Sprockets of chain transmission located on bracket shafts are interconnected by chain transmission where gear ratio of the mentioned transmission is equal to one. In this design, rotation shaft of one of the brackets is connected with driving gear of chain transmission mounted on engine output shaft.
EFFECT: decrease in dimensions and better sliding of snowmobile.
