ABRASIVE MELTED GRAINS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC B24D3/00 B24D99/00

Abstract RU 2523197 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an abrasive instrument, containing melted grains. Abrasive grains have a chemical composition in wt % based on oxides: Al2O3 remaining part to 100%, ZrO2+HfO2 16-24%, MgO in such amount that a weight ratio (ZrO2+HfO2)/MgO constitutes from 25 to 65, oxides different from Al2O3, ZrO2, HfO2 and MgO 0-2%.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain grains with improved properties with a lower content of zirconium dioxide, and therefore reduce the production cost.
