FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to melted ceramic abrasive particles based on aluminium oxide and zirconium oxide and can be used for manufacturing milling tools. Ceramic particles possess the following chemical composition, wt %: ZrO2+HfO2: 38.0-46.0%; Al2O3: addition to 100%; SiO2: 0.20-0.60%; Y2O3: from 0.45 to 0.0%; TiO2: from 1.00 to 2.00%;other oxides: <1.00%, with ratio Y2O3/SiO2 constituting from 0.80 to 2.00, and content of tetragonal phase constitutes from 60 to 90% of zirconium oxide weight (residue is in monoxide modification).
EFFECT: increased resistance of particles to abrasive wear.
