COPOLYMER, CONTAINING ACID STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF POLYETHER STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C08F216/14 C04B24/26 C04B103/30

Abstract RU 2523283 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a copolymer and a method of its obtaining, to a dispersing means and a method of its obtaining, as well as to the copolymer application. The copolymer contains: i) 3-40 mol% of an isoprenol polyether derivative structural element α; ii) 3-40 mol% of a vinyloxypolyether derivative structural element β; and iii) 35-93 mol% of an acid structural element γ. The isoprenol polyether derivative structural element α is represented by the following general formula

,

where A are similar or different and are represented by alkylene groups in accordance with CxH2x, where x=2, 3, 4 or 5, a are similar or different and are represented by an integer number between 4 and 300. The vnyloxypolyether derivative structural element β is represented by the following general formula:

,

where RA are similar or different and are represented by a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C12alkyl group, a C5-C8cycloalkyl group, a phenyl group or C7-C12arylalkyl group, A are similar or different and are represented by alkelene groups in accordance with CxH2x, where x=2, 3, 4 or 5, b are similar or different and are represented by an integer number from 6 to 450. The mean arithmetic of alkylene groups of A structural elements, which relate to the vinyloxypolyether derivative structural element β, is at least 1.5 times higher than the mean arithmetic of alkylene groups of A structural elements, which relate to the isoprenol polyether derivative structural element α. The dispersing means contains, at least, 30 wt % of water and, at least 10 wt % of the copolymer. The method of obtaining the copolymer or the dispersing means consists in the following: an isoprenol polyether derivative monomer, a vinyloxypolyether derivative monomer and an acid monomer react by free-radical polymerisation with application of a peroxide-containing redox initiator system in a water solution. A temperature of the water solution during polymerisation constitutes 10-45°C and pH is 3.5-6.5. The copolymer is applied as the dispersing means for hydraulic binding substances and/or latent hydraulic binding substances.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to elaborate a highly efficient superplasticiser.
