FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: red blood cells of a patient suffering from locally advanced cervical cancer (Stages Ib-IIa) according to the FIGO system are exposed to a single femtosecond pulse laser light emission in vitro in a test tube. An emission wavelength is 1.55 mcm with a dose of 0.10 J/cm2.
EFFECT: method enables reducing stiffness of red blood cell membranes without oxidative stress in patients suffering from cervical cancer.
