FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises analysis of luminol-dependant chemiluminescence of tissues and definition of the light amount of difference of the intensities of luminosity of the samples. In the state of balance B of pro-and anti-oxidants in each sample is determined by a formula B=Sm1/Sm2, where Sm1 is light amount of chemiluminescence of active forms of oxygen in the sample, Sm2 is light amount of chemiluminescence characterising the antioxidant activity of the sample, which is determined in a two-cuvette luminometer, in one of the cuvettes of which the standard luminol-containing solution is placed, in another - the standard solution with the addition of calculated amount of the test sample, and simultaneously the difference between the luminescence intensity for 5 minutes is measured, including the latent period of antioxidant activity development.
EFFECT: increase in reliability of the results of the study by eliminating the random deviations of the measured parameters.
