METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF HEAVY PURULENT TRACHEOBRONCHITIS IN THERMOINHALATION LESION OF AIRWAY Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/483

Abstract RU 2579315 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to fibre-optic bronchoscopy, and describes method for prediction of severe purulent tracheobronchitis developing with thermo-inhaling damage of respiratory tract by chemiluminescence. Method is characterised by that during bronchoscopy sampling of mucosal biopsy materials is performed, in which light sum of Fe2+ - induced chemiluminescence (Sind-1), H2O2 - induced luminol-dependent chemiluminescence (Sind-2) and maximum amplitude of H2OH2 - induced luminol-dependent fluorescence (H) are determined. If value of Sind-1 is 0.500 standard units and more, Sind-2 is 0.400 standard units and more and H is 0.300 standard units and more, developing of severe purulent tracheobronchitis of III degree of intensity of inflammation is predicted, if obtained simultaneously on all three values Sind-1 is 0.499 standard units and less, Sind-2 is 0.399 standard units and less and H is 0.299 standard units and less shows developing of catarrhal or purulent tracheobronchitis of I-II degree of intensity of inflammation is predicted.

EFFECT: disclosed method enables fast (within 30 minutes) and early prediction of purulent tracheobronchitis developing after thermo-inhaling damage of respiratory tract and proving necessity of performing of repeated daily remedial bronchoscopies.
