FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of converter operation and device for method implementation involve direct to alternate voltage converter functioning as SEPIC converter: when positive half-wave of output alternate voltage is formed, energy accumulated in reactor is supplied to primary transformer winding, and during generation of negative half-wave of output alternate voltage energy accumulated in first capacitor is supplied to primary transformer winding. Direct to alternate voltage converter includes first and second semiconductor switches of direct to alternate voltage converter, acting as a synchronous rectifier; input direct voltage circuits of the converter have galvanic isolation from output alternate voltage circuits of the converter.
EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of converter due to simplified design for implementation of method, and extended functional range.
