METHOD FOR ASSESSING THERAPEUTIC EFFECTIVENESS OF VASODILATING AGENTS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2523682 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: sensor of LAKK-2 laser Doppler apparatus is attached on the palmar surface of a pointer finger fixed horizontally. Red wave spectrum microcirculation vibrations are recorded for 5 minutes with the derived data processed to calculate a microcirculatory shift index (MSI) by the original formula. If the MSI reaches 1.5, vasodilating therapy is considered to be effective with the initial examination conducted prior to administering vasodilating agents that is followed by prescribing the vasodilating agents in a dosage specified according to the MSI level.

EFFECT: method enables assessing the therapeutic effectiveness of the vasodilating agents, providing the clinical effectiveness of therapy ensured by selecting an individual dose of the preparations; the method is non-invasive.
