FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant, thermal-protective coatings for different types of surfaces of different shapes which require thermal- and fire-protection, used in different industries as fire-proof, thermal-protective coatings for pipelines of heating systems, boilers and other thermal equipment, for coating equipment in order to protect personnel from contact burns from hot and cold metal surfaces, for cooling equipment used in facilities with unfavourable humidity and temperature conditions as an anti-condensate and anti-corrosion coating, for external heat-insulation of buildings and structures and internal treatment of buildings in order to prevent freezing and dampness of walls. The fire-resistant, thermal-protective coating is made from a composition which includes an acrylic dispersion, filler - closed non-combustible hollow glass microspheres with size or 20-200 mcm, which are free-flowing powders with packed density of 0.18-0.30 g/cm3, kaolin, zinc borate, inorganic binder which is a composition of liquid sodium glass and nano-size silicon hydroxide modified with sodium aluminate, auxiliary components - titanium dioxide, pearlite, aluminium hydroxide, functional additives - decabromodiphenyl oxide, plasticiser S-3, curing agent - sodium silicofluoride and water.
EFFECT: obtaining a thermal-protective coating which is non-combustible, heat-resistant, with high adhesion to metal, concrete plastered and brick surfaces, improved environmental properties and improved technology of obtaining the coating.
