FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: soft and/or hard tissues of the skull are coated with an adapter made of an elastic material. A mask individually adapted to contours of soft and/or hard tissues of the facial skeleton, prepared by stereolithography, having a guide directed after a nail vector with a bushing diameter equal to or more than the nail diameter is placed on the adapter. The mask is fixed with dressing materials to the facial skeleton.
EFFECT: method enables accurate reposition of the fragments, accurate position of the nail in relation to a fracture line and surrounding tissues and reducing time of the surgical procedure.
