FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves: obtaining a 3D scout image, drawing a middle-sagittal brain plane, creating a longitudinal supporting line by anatomical points, planning scans with a direction on the basis of the middle-sagittal plane and the longitudinal supporting line; the supporting lines for drawing the middle-sagittal plane: axial and coronal sections are used to calculate the 3D image; detecting traces of the brain longitudinal fissure in the sections are calculated; the supporting lines calculated on the basis of the detected traces of the longitudinal brain fissure in the sections are collected; such sets of lines are filtered by excluding those lines from the sets that have different directions with a common detection vector of all the lines of the respective set; the longitudinal supporting line is formed on the basis of the image reconstructed in the middle-sagittal plane, and anatomical points detected in this image.
EFFECT: providing reliability by increasing the image processing accuracy of both high- and low-resolution.
