FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of underground formations, specifically to additives which improve properties of used compositions, and treatment methods using said additives. The treatment liquid additive for increasing proppant packing permeability contains a pH regulating agent and a precipitation controlling agent in weight ratio ranging from 1:1 to 200:1 and the additive is selected in granular form. The method of increasing proppant packing permeability includes preparing the treatment liquid containing a viscoelastic surfactant, having at least one breakable bond, or a thickening polymer, a hydrolysable material, said additive, and feeding the prepared treatment liquid into the formation. The invention is developed in subclaims.
