FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Two-stroke engine comprises crankcase (11), engine cylinder (18), atomiser (58), engine piston (20) reciprocating in said cylinder (18). Crankshaft (14) runs in crankcase bearings (11) and comprises at least one crankpin (83), first con-rod (15) articulated with engine piston (20) and crankshaft (14) crankpin (83). It comprises air blower (9), main channel (32) communicated with the latter and engine cylinder (18) via multiple blowing channels (28). Said channels open into cylinder via blowing openings located directly above piston (20) at its stay at BDC. Discharge channel (33) opens into cylinder (18) via discharge opening located directly above piston (20) at its stay at BDC. Engine has at least one auxiliary channel (29) connected with compressed air source to extend into cylinder (18) at the level above blowing channels (28) and discharge channels (33). Valve (30) serves for selective opening/closing of auxiliary channel (29) for supercharging in operation and for unloading to reduce resistance at starting. Said valve (30) makes a rotary valve tightly coupled with seat (38) that crosses said auxiliary channel (29). It has at least one tangential groove (31) for selective communication with the main channel (33).

EFFECT: lower fuel consumption, decreased harmful emissions.
