SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an elastic clutch in a disk design with a damping device. The elastic clutch comprises half-clutches (1 and 2), side discs (1.1 and 1.2) and a disc (3). The side discs (1.1 and 1.2) restrict a liquid-tight interior space (5), wherein the medium disc is located (3). A floating damping ring (7) designed with a possibility of limited rotation with respect to both half-clutches (1 and 2), is introduced into the inner space (5) The floating damping ring (7) along the clutch circle is divided into the ring segments (7.1, 7.2, 7.3), which are mounted with a possibility of sliding radially outside on the middle disc (3) and/or radially inside on the outer edge (8) of at least one side disc (1.1 and 1.2). The segments (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) of the ring on one or both axial ends (9.1 and 9.2) have a predetermined length in a radial direction of the clutch to the middle disc (3) and/or to the outer edge of at least one side disc (1.1 and 1.2) in a state unloaded in a circumferential direction by a damping medium of one of the half-clutches (1 and 2). In the loaded state the predetermined distance from the axial end (9.1 and 9.2) of the segments (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) of the ring up to the middle disc (3) and/or the outer edge (8) of at least one side disc (1.1 and 1.2), is overlapped due to turnover or bending.
EFFECT: intensified damping in the maximum angular range of relative rotation is provided.
