SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering, to high voltage transformers for cascade connection. A high voltage transformer (1) for cascade connection includes a primary winding (8), a high voltage winding (16) and a magnetic conductor (4) with a secondary winding (24). The primary winding and high-voltage winding (8, 16) concentrically cover at least a part of the magnetic conductor (4). The high voltage winding (16) comprises one or several separate layers joined in parallel.
EFFECT: increased voltage under cascade voltage.
