FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for three-phase AC voltage conversion into single-phase or orthogonal one. First converter version comprises two output terminals, three-phase transformer with primary winding, connected into star, connected to input terminals, main secondary phase winding on each magnetic conductor rod and additional on one of them, which number of turns is equal to number of turns of main secondary phase winding of same rod and twice less than number of turns of main secondary windings of each phase adjacent rod, one pair of similar terminals of each pair of secondary phase windings of three-phase transformer with unequal number of turns is connected to each other, two single-phase transformers, which secondary windings, with uniform connection of pairs of terminals of beginnings and ends of windings of three-phase transformers with unequal number of turns to single-phase transformers primary windings, form sequential circuit, connected to output terminals. Second converter version is characterized by presence on each single-phase transformer of, at least, one additional winding, connected oppositely in series with other single-phase transformer primary winding and separate winding, interconvertible connected to three-phase transformer output terminals and cascade converter. Both versions allow using of group transformer, as well as arrangement of single-phase transformers magnetic conductors in common cavity of secondary windings, forming sequential circuit. Use of converter in form of power supply source meets AC voltage conversion quality requirements and on railway transport and for orthogonal voltages multi-pulsed rectifiers.

EFFECT: technical result achieved in disclosed converter consists in fact, that sine currents equal by value circulate in network phases shifted 120 el degrees, and at converter output single-phase or orthogonal sinusoidal voltage of same frequency is formed.
