FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises mixing of dicyclopentadiene with at least one of metacryl ethers selected from the said group and at least one of polymer stabilisers selected from said group. Initial mix is heated to 150-220°C and held at this temperature for 15-360 minutes with subsequent cooling to 20-50°C. At least one of radical initiators selected from said group and catalyst of said general formula wherein substitute is introduced in obtained mix of oligocyclopentadienes and ethers of methylcarboxynorbornen. Components of polymer matrix feature the following relationship (wt %): polymer stabilisers - 0.1-3, radical initiators - 0.1-4, catalyst - 0.002-0.02, the mix of oligocyclopentadienes and ethers of methylcarboxynorbornen making the rest. Obtained liquid polymer matrix is held at 0-50°C for 1-40 minutes and added to water preheated to temperature not lower than that of matrix at continuous mixing, including surfactant selected from given group. Note here that the mix of water with surfactant features viscosity lower than that of polymer matrix. At continuous mixing water is heated to 50-100°C for 1-60 minutes. Then, formed microspheres are separated from liquid, heated in atmosphere of inert gas to 150-340°C and held thereat for 1-360 minutes.

EFFECT: higher thermal stability, strength and oil resistance.
