FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a method involving respiratory gas inhalation from a closed-circuit apparatus. The first stage involves helium and oxygen mixture inhalation, while the second stage - helium, xenon and oxygen mixture inhalation. Inhalation is continued until observing signs of gas exposure at the second stage of inhalation. What is also presented is a device comprising gas sources, a gas supply control device, a closed breathing system for gas inhalations accommodating a breathing mask, a gas mixing unit coupled with the gas supply control device. Additionally, the device comprises a gas mixing unit coupled with the gas supply control device, as well as a switching unit of the gas mixing units coupled with the breathing mask and connected to each mixing unit to form two closed breathing circuits.
EFFECT: effective therapeutic exposure ensured by reducing breathing resistance by gas density adjustability.
