FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for xenon inhalations. First lungs are subject to intensive ventilation by air followed by maximal exhalation of air into environment accompanied by delay of breathing at height of inhalation. Then patient inhales with xenon-oxygen mixture, warmed up to 90 degrees C, until concentration of oxygen drops till 20% and signs of action of gas begin to appear. Inhalation is carried out on an empty stomach. Device for inhalation has unit for supplying gases, closed breathing circuit in form of breathing gas chamber provided with gas analyzer. Breathing chamber is provided with additional breathing container, inhalation/exhalation line and shutter for opening and closing of breathing circuit.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of xenon; higher efficiency of procedure; higher permeability of vessels; shorted time of procedure; easiness of use.
